The guy who installed my lock, showed up hours later than promised, was hyper, talking fast, asked to use my bathroom twice in an hour. I made sure I could pay by credit card and then the guy who installed the lock tried to talk me into letting him drive me to my bank so I could pay in cash. When he finally finished and was leaving he told me someone could still kick my door in, but he could come back and install another lock if I wanted. Needless to say I declined.

Alpers is the best hardware store in Port Washington, hands down. They are very friendly and the family that runs the store grew up here. Hardware is their life! So they know the product you are looking for. Take your kids to Alpers and let them hear the creaking of the old wood floors that reminds you of the hardware stores of yesteryear. Great local hardware store. Service is always great. Recenty i hired them to clean my Weber natural gas grill and it was the best money I ever spent. I usually spend 3 hours every spring cleaning it myself and it wouldnt look nearly as clean as Victor got it to look. I wouldnt say it looks like new but its about as close as its gonna get. I am definately going to use them every spring from now on.
